For this event I will be giving away Goodness Gracious Green by Judy Christie courtesy of Abingdon Press

& a Burt’s Bees Travel Kit.

About the Book:

“Will Lois Barker put down roots in Green . . . or will small-town life be too tough? The charming and uncertain journalist is delighted with her decision to keep The Green News-Item and excited about the possibility of romance with her good-looking catfish farmer/coach neighbor and the growth of her fresh faith and friendships. Her second year in Green has scarcely been rung in, though, before Lois is wrung out. The former owners of the paper want it back. The mayor’s dog bites her on the face. A series of fires threaten Lois. And while her friends blossom, Lois feels wilted. Although Lois finds fresh hopes turning stale in her second year in Green, in the midst of challenges and lessons, Lois’s journey still explodes with possibilities!”

One of my favorite books was The Vampire and The virgin by Kerrelyn Sparks. It was my first read of this author and I couldn’t put this book down. I wanted to know what the next page was going to bring. She is a great storyteller.

  14. My favorite book of all time is by Roddy Doyle it is called A Star Like Henry – it is perhaps the most moving, upsetting ,thought provoking, intense book I have ever read. Every ten minutes it would cause me to stop and talk to my husband about something. I know three men from Northern Ireland and I have had intense chats with them about their upbringing because of this book. I recomend it to people all the time. I have not found its sequel I look and a third book is comming out. Read it – it is intense.

I don’t think I have a favorite book of all time, there are so many to choose from. However, I guess I’d go with Twilight because there is just something about it that I love. I’d also say the Mortal Instruments because the story line is comforting for some reason. It helps me cope on occasion with life eccentricities.
